How crypto deposits work

Networks, confirmations and minimums — how to make sure a deposit arrives the first time.

TRADE818 Team·Sep 10, 2026· 6 min read
Key takeaways
  • Every account has its own deposit addresses; deposits are credited automatically.
  • An address is valid only for the network shown above it.
  • Crediting happens after the network's required confirmations.
  • Amounts below the minimum are held until your total on that address reaches it.

Each TRADE818 account gets its own deposit addresses for every supported coin and network. When you send coins to one of them, the deposit is detected on the blockchain and credited to your USD balance automatically once the network has confirmed it. There is no form to fill in and no need to contact support.

Step by step

  1. 1Open Deposit and choose the coin you want to send.
  2. 2Choose the network. Your wallet or exchange must send on exactly the same network.
  3. 3Copy the address with the Copy address button or scan the QR code.
  4. 4Send the coins from your wallet or exchange. Keep the amount above the minimum shown.
  5. 5Wait for the confirmations. You'll get a notification when the deposit is credited.

Pick the right network

Many coins exist on several networks — USDT, for example, on Tron (TRC-20), Ethereum (ERC-20) and BNB Chain (BEP-20). The address shown is only valid for the network named above it. Sending on a different network is the most common reason a deposit doesn't arrive, and it can mean the funds are lost.

Confirmations and timing

Typical crediting times
Tron, BNB Chain, Solana≈ 1–2 minutes
Ethereum≈ 3–5 minutes
Litecoin, Dogecoin≈ 5–15 minutes
Bitcoin≈ 10–30 minutes

Each network needs a certain number of confirmations before the deposit is safe to credit; the number is shown in the deposit window. Times depend on network load and on the fee your wallet paid.

Minimums

Every network has a minimum deposit. Smaller amounts are not lost: they are held until your total on that address reaches the minimum, and then credited together.

Paying by card

If you don't hold crypto yet, the Card & wallets tab lists partner services that let you buy Bitcoin with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay and send it straight to your deposit address.

Never type an address by hand. Copy it or scan the QR code, and check the first and last few characters before sending.
