- The fee is a % of the position size, charged on open and again on close.
- Your rate depends on your VIP tier, which grows with your lifetime deposits.
- P&L in your trade history is already net of both fees.
- Cancelled limit orders get their opening fee back; liquidated positions pay no closing fee.
Trading fees on TRADE818 work the same way as on most derivatives exchanges: they are a percentage of the position size — margin × leverage — and they are charged twice, when you open a position and when you close it. Your rate depends on your VIP tier.
A full example
When fees are charged
- Market orders pay the opening fee when they are filled.
- Limit orders pay the opening fee when they are placed. If you cancel the order, the fee is returned together with the margin.
- The closing fee is taken from the amount returned to your balance when the position closes.
- A liquidated position has nothing left to return, so no closing fee is charged.
Where you see them
- The order ticket shows the opening fee and your current rate before you trade.
- Closed trades in your history show their total fee under the result.
- P&L in your history, the leaderboard and your statistics is already net of both fees.
How tiers work
Your tier is based on your lifetime deposits. The rate that applies to a position is fixed when it opens — if your tier changes while the position is open, it still closes at the rate it was opened with. You can see your current tier and the perks of the next one on your profile.
